How you apply for studying abroad through the Nordman Network.

As a student you are recommended to start your application process already 1,5-2 semesters ahead by visiting the International Coordinator at your home institution. It is a prerequisite to have a successful plan of the course(s) or clinical placement(s) intended to take at a Nordman partner institution.

Receipt of Nordplus Higher Education Grant

The Nordplus Higher Education program's main conditions for receiving grants are:

  • You have studied for at least one year at your home institution.
  • Grant-funded overseas studies should last at least one month, but no longer than 12 months.
  • The overseas studies should count fully towards the final assessment at your home institution.
  • You should not pay any tuition fees or similar fees during your overseas stay.

The grant will be paid only when the form below has been completed and signed. A complete Nordplus grant application (the form below) is to be sent in by the Nordman contact person (e.g. international coordinator) at your institution, to the network coordinator.

Nordplus Grants - Support for mobility

The Nordplus Grants (support for mobility) consist of both Travel rates and Accommodation/board rates.

Travel rates between: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden and Åland is 330 Euros 

Accommodation/board rates:

 You can, as a maximum, get 200 Euro for 4 weeks

Teachers

As a teacher you are recommended to start your application process early enough by discussing with the Iternational Coordinator and/or other authorities at your home institution. It is a prerequisite to have a clear plan of the intended trip to a Nordman partner institution.

Receipt of Nordplus Higher Education Grant

The main condition for receiving a grant is that the length of exchange is minimum 8 hours of teaching/working and that the teacher is employed by Nordic and Baltic higher education institutions independent of nationality

The grant will only be paid until the form below has been completed and signed. A complete Nordplus grant application (the form below) is to be sent in by the Nordman contact person (e.g. international coordinator) at your institution, to the network coordinator.

 Report standard for teacher mobility

A travel report should be submited to the network coordinator at the end of your trip. See the travel report guidelines. We recommend you to write in English so other participants can read as well.
